DESIGN
Design patent is a creative work relating to the physical appearance of a product which is unique for industry or craftwork.
The purpose is to protect the ornamental characteristics, non-functional, shape, configuration or aesthetic aspects of the subject matter.
The design which can be protected must meet two basic requirements; novelty and industrial application.
When filing a design application, all perspective views must be submitted in forms of either photographs or drawings; front, back, right, left, bottom, top.
Only one claim for the design patent shall be clearly indicated to indicate the scope of right applied for protection.
